so easy and tastes great!!!

4 cups diced toms
1 green pepper diced
1 lg onion diced
2 hot peppers or 1 tsp dry pepper
2 cloves garlic diced
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tbl oregano ( heaping)
1 tbl cumin ( heaping)

simmer til thick
2 times this makes 6 pints

Sounds good, however, I think I'll try diced green chile in place of the green pepper.

thats what I actually do dave other wise its actually too mild for me, gramma was a light weight ;) (love you gram :-* :-*)

What, no Cilantro?

I know some folks don't care for it, so it's optional. I can up a lot of garden salsa every year, and one recommendation I'd make is to use Roma tomatoes if you like a chunky salsa. All meat & minimal juice, so you don't have to simmer it down very long & the chunks stay chunky. Blanch tomatoes in boiling water for a minute & the skins will pop right off.
