View Full Version : 916steelhead's White Zin Smoked Shad

1cup Kosher Salt
3 tsp- Garlic Powder
3 tsp- Garlic Salt
1 cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Garlic Teriyaki
1.5 Gallons of Water.
A bottle of White Zinfandel on the water tray.
Hickory Wood Chips.

Mix all ingredients in a Large Pot, bring it to boil or until Salt and Sugar dissolves. Let it cool and brine the fish Overnight.

Hey 916 I've been using cherry wood and they really seem to hit the spot.
