Finally after 12 years putting for a elk tag in ca. i got one for a tule elk cow at Pillsbury lake. I felt very lucky to be able to harvest a native elk. Scouted and did my homework and it payed off, with a nice tule cow. Got it quartered and on ice, will start the cut and wrap in the morn. Looks like i will have alot of good eats in the freezer for a while. 23130231312313223133

Your right, you can't eat the horns. However they sure are nice to look at after the burp...

Im going to forward this thread to a buddy. He's going to be so jealous.
