Nice dude. Looks pretty bad ass. I got a set of these a while back but haven't used them yet because I always usually use my go-to ling bait first. I figured they might work well since lings are always coughing up octopuses on the deck.

Nice swim baits. I like the koi pattern! Oh and u gotta love the ebay stuff . I swear I will never buy another 2oz Kroc/ or Kastmaster for $10 when I I get 4 of them for $12 on ebay. Those octopus jigs look good

I've wondered about these. I think one of our buddies got a couple but not too much success.

I got a set of those too, but I just wish they had more natural colors.Might be worth it to repaint? Only fished em' once and switched back to my confidence bait. The giant Tora Tubes make a better octopus imitator IMHO, but they get shredded after one fish.

I tried to choose colors that I've seen on rockies I've caught so that lings would see them as more of a natural bait.

The first one I bought was a firetiger color scheme and I had a 24" ling 5 minutes of hitting the bottom!

We'll see what these can do.

The original did get kinda tore up on the first fish. It can probably take one or two more fish.

Speaking of the devil, errr...typing!

I have some of the tora tubes and they haven't been successful in shallow water. Maybe I haven't used them enough? I got the root beer brown version.

Those are noice! Are they made out of the thicker plastic? They look similar to the hardnose baits. Where can i get some? I want a few.

Ling lures?

I ran into a bunch of conch & lucanas jigs for dirt cheap started changing out the hooks on some conchs today. They catch but the paint isnt the best on them. Thinking of making my own with regular lead weights, painted, drilled, skirted and through wired on the cheap.

My buddy in sdiego gave me a 5gal bucket of used trolling skirts so i made some
ling jigs out of a few. The bottom color was getting nailed more than the others.
Tubes do definitely work and I find them to be more durable than regular swimbaits. Here's a tora tube and much larger homemade trolling skirt tora tube. pin on a squid and squirt of scent inside and theyre gold.

I got these swim baits off of eBay. Look at bogs baits.

Nice selection of lures you got there!
