Since the weather is bad and can't get out fishing, I have spent the day in the paint booth working on a new watermelon glow dodger. *Note the difference between the straight glow and the glow with uv over top. *These are 100% hand painted. *Base coat is extended glow, stripe coats of blue, pink and green are also glow, and black spots (for watermelon look). *Clear coated with crystallina and blue uv.
The top dodger in the picture does not have uv coating. *The bottom one has the blue uv.

Watermelon color has been a good producer of kokanee and kings for us.
Let me know what you think.

Nice goin' Ken. Those Macs don't have a chance.

The question of the day: Would you rather be out fishing or inside inventing?

Ken it looks like I am going to have to ride the Harley up to your place and pick up those new dodgers.I know how well the regular watermelon works so I know the UV will just make it that much better.By the way your watermelon apex's rocked at Englebright last week!!!Going to need more of those soon.

What speed will these troll at before going out of controll?

Dave

Ken will have an idea but from my use:

We normally use this type of dodger @ 1.7 MPH or under I really have not tried them faster.

Ken does make Three Super Glow dodgers that we use if you want to go faster

See the colors below.

The "Glow Mellon" was a very good King color last year.

!!New!! Super Glow Dodgers

Introducing our new Super Glow Dodgers. They are 4 3/8 inches long and treated with a non-toxic, environmentally friendly, glow pigment (which produces an incredible glow and long duration). Have a crystalina finish and nickel back.

I used the Super Glow Pink at Flaming Gorge last year with success. I'd love the UV Watermelon in a faster troll model.

Dave,
As Willbilly stated, the super glow dodgers can be trolled at faster speeds. Next time I am in the paint booth I will paint some of the smaller dodgers in the new glow watermelon color that will be available special order only. We welcome any custom orders or ideas that you need.
As for the other dodger we have max speed is 1.7-1.9 mph.
Hope this helps.
Headed to UVR tomorrow for 4 days, will post info when I get back.

Okay, the "Custom" in Ken's Custom Tackle is no mistake. 1 day service from the time Ken received my order till it was in the mail and 1 day to get to me. Ken, thanks for the special order and I hope the Kokes love them as much as I do.
