We came down from KL (launch is getting sketchy there, the ramp drop off is coming into play). Saw lots of boats launching at V without issues though.

All good bro. Hanging out with my bro, so kinda busy this weekend.

Take care, lots of shad being caught there today by boats and waders. Fly anglers were putting on a clinic.

I was out there yesterday. It was a steady pick for most but not on fire. Size was decent, got a couple 4+ lbers. I'm with DSA, I couldn't hold off the urge to go after stripers so I trolled up to Knights Landing for nothing. Other boats we talked to agreed, there just aren't many stripers around. After that is was a nice cruise back down to Verona with the wind in our face, getting hot it was nice to turn the "AC" on! With the low water the woody debris has created many hazards. We saw 2 people with props crash into trees. Man those Mercruiser sterndrives are bullet proof, I can also attest to that mith my last boat. I can't tell you how much stress is relieved for me now that I have a jet. The launch at Verona is in very good shape, no issues. They must have dredged it as I was there a month ago and it was starting to fill in. It's amazing how much the confluence has changed there in the last couple years, that plus how low the water is, very different.
