Don't know if the picture posted but anyways the river is blown out right now. Leafs and general debris was a major problem had to clean lines every 10 minutes gave it up after 2 hours. Not a bite. Graybeard48

It's a old ski pole with a older rod holder bolted to the top. Made it for my dad when he used to fish the Klamath. He used it for a wading stick. Graybeard48

I was down there today Ron... Put in 6 hours from the bank... Not hardly any debris on top... But the bottom was a different story... Not like reel in every ten minutes but leaves weeds and stuff just covering the slider hook/bait... Gave it a shot anyway... My brother went also... Between us 3 rods eel and eel/crawler for nada... It is back down... But is projected to rise like 8 ft by Friday again... Might go in the boat on a inside corner next time... And let that $hit blow by on the outside... Keep trying...

Damn was going to head down there today but took a ride to Garcia first and talk to a boater just pulling out and he said it was unfishable. What's the bait situation? I think maybe tomorrow I'll give it a shot. Wind going to blow though. Thanx for the heads up JR. Graybeard48

Yeah wind will be bad tomorrow Ron... Thursday morning looks OK as far as wind... Debris on the bottom sucked... I'm not sure of any bait situation cause I always use eel which I buy in advance in the off season... Not sure if ghost shrimp are in good supply or grass...
