Four of us fished Suisun Bay from 7am to 5pm. Ended the day with 8 stripers to 5lbs and 1 jumbo shaker sturgeon. Started off at buoy 4 in 20ft of water for the last of the incoming. Sat on fish til the wind got to be too much...no takers. Moved up to the creek in 35ft on water and finished incoming. No takers. As the outgo started, we moved shallow on the sand bar (5ft) and began to consistantly get bites. Hung out til we got to 3.5ft. Got the majority of bites in the shallows. Water temp 48.5 in deep and 49.5 in shallows. Used eel and ghost.

You did better then us. Me and wife's nephew on the Sac River at Sherman Lake. Soaking live ghost, fresh roe and frozen eel. 24 inch striper on ghost. Small striper on frozen shad. No sturgeon.
Good to be out, but was a slow day. Can hardly wait for the next time!

Nice! Me, my dad, and a budy were on sussun slough. We picked up a 36 inch sturgeon and a 27 inch striper named ceviche. Mind if i ask where the sand bar is?

The sand bar is the light blue area just adjacent to the mothball fleet. It's under the "Suisun Bay" label on the map.

I was out there on Friday, 1/8 north of the shoal. Fished west of the MBF on the incoming, then moved to the horseshoe E of the MBF for the end of the flood and start of the ebb. Nothing but a junk fish, Sacramento Sucker on eel. Marked lots of fish and had plenty of company with other boats near the horseshoe, but no sturgies this time.

It was foggy in the morning but warmed to be a beautiful day on the water before the rains arrived Fri night/Sat morning.

Will get some shrimp for my next trip!
