I can see that fish being in the mid to high 20's. Now, if I held up that fish it would look like it was only in the high teens. *Being built like a linebacker at 6'2 & 300+ pounds makes fish tend to look a bit smaller against my larger frame.

Regardless, it's a nice catch. *Good job.

Moral to story: *Karma comes back atcha. *Help another boater on the water, catch a big fish :)

You think you can tell the difference between 24lbs and 27lbs by looking at a picture that was taken from a distance. You don't know how big that guy's boat was, or how big he is.

I'm wondering why you would question the weight anyway. Are you trying to down play their success? :-/ :-?

P.s. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.

Just my .02 cents... C.K.

hmm, first of all...what's the length of that fish, or you guys didn't measure it???

I mean seriously...that thing looks to be way over 27lbs
which type of scale are you guys using???;D

24lbs...27lbs... Does it really matter it is a huge carp. I don't see any reason not to believe it is 27lbs so lets just try and keep it friendly. ;)

That is great story karma in action :). Regardless of the weight its a big fish, although I don't see a reason to doubt it weighted 27lbs.

Good point. I'm now on a diet to make my fish look bigger. I'll bet I keep the weight off this time. Here I've been trying to learn how to catch biggre fish when all I had to do was lay off the fast food. LOL
