Fished Pyramid on Saturday with my buddy JB and his son. Launched at about 6:45 in 28 degree weather. Had a slight south breeze turn into a pretty good 10 to 15 mph wind later in the morning, and then it died off to nothing in the afternoon. Started trolling right out of the ramp and caught fish immediately. Trolled north all the way to Warrior, picking up a fish here and there. About 1 pm the wind had died so we ran over to Hell's Kitchen to see what it looked like. Water was clearer than on the West side, and we caught 7 trout in the first 20 minutes, including 2 doubles. Then it just quit! We ended with about 35 trout -- biggest 23 inches and many in the 20 to 22 inch range. Best lures were the Canberra Killer Tasmanian Devil trolled right on the surface, and Silver Horde spoons on the downrigger at 10 to 20 feet. All in bright colors -- chartreuse, flourescent orange, bright greens and blues. A great Day!
