I fished from 2:00-6:00pm and caught 5 commons up to 4lbs and a 4lb 3oz goldfish. It was my new goldfish pb and a recatch, the last time I caught him he was 3lbs 2oz in march.

Great job! Those fish start to look funny when they get that big. My son and I tried there a couple of weeks ago. No luck for an hour of fishing. Is there any one spot better than another?

Thanks and great report!

Nice goldfish, I think you have a shot at breaking the goldfish world record with the size of the goldfish you catch (and if that goldfish has grown 1 pound in a few months maybe in a year or two he will be the right size 8-)) . *Current record 6 pounds 10 ounces caught in Lake Hodges, CA.

I never imagined a goldfish getting that big! What did you catch it on?

I got him on bread. The eyes our orange and that is just like coloring on a koi, he just has orange in the eye. He didn't fight like saten, he fought like a wet towel.

fish off the balcony or by the trees and you should do well. I use a sliding sinker rig and use either corn or tortilla and do pretty good. remember when fishing off the balcony theres no need to cast far. I catch fish 2 feet away from the wall...just drop your line down and wait. set your drag pretty loose because the fish there hit HARD!

I just like that fact that you keep a total and list of all the fish you have caught so far this year.

Wow for 10 months that is between 8 and 10 fish for every day of the year. You are a catching machine!
