Went through a few bait balls at the Lake last Week. Was wondering if anyone knows what kinda bait is in the Lake? We also caught Several Mackinaw and one nice Brown.

50+ macs for Four days...

We did NOT Keep any Fish that Weekend. All fish were released... Thank You Robbie (Koke Machine)...

Great report.

I believe I read there are pond smelt in the lake. I've had pretty good luck pulling 3" power minnows behind dodgers trying to imitate the small skinny profile, but dumb luck is just as likely a reason for me catching a few.

I have also noticed the few I've kept had small bluegill/panfish in them.

Someone else said blue gills or sun fish. Pond Smelt too. So i guess there is enough food in the Lake to keep all these little macs happy. The Brown was around 4 1/2lbs. I would show some photo's, but Photobucket said NO!!! Thanks for the Info Guys... Robbie (Koke Machine)...

Thanks for the report, Robbie. My sister lives about two blocks from the lake. Looks like I'm going to have to go visit and spend some time on the lake.
