Walker River regs? I am confused

I am trying to plan a trip with a buddy in a couple of weeks and plan on hitting the Walker south of Topaz Lake. I guess I just don't know the area well enough so the regulations are confusing the crap out of me. Where is that river artificial, flies, and barbless and where can I use regular lures (don't really want to change out the hooks to single barbless if I don't have to) and I am just not very good with a fly rod. Are there any place you can through worms?

Also so planning on hitting the west Carson on my way to the Walker and maybe on my way home too.

Only the East Walker has special regs above the elbow. The West has a 5 fish daily limit.

From the closing of the regular fishing season, 11/15, until the opening of general fishing season, the last Saturday in April, The West Walker from the 395 bridge down to Topaz Lake is open to barbless fishing with a zero limit.
