I was hoping that somebody might have an update on Folsom trout trolling. I was there about three weeks ago and water temp was still pretty high. Planning on using the downriggers . Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

I was out recently and got two nice trout toplining 4" rapala stick baits. one was about 18" and the other about 22". I honestly was thinking I would catch bass. I was only about 75' paralell to shore and in the browns ravine area inside the buoys.

I do like to troll Folsom a few times a year in the colder
winter months.
I'm no expert on the lake and for me Folsom is
a hard lake to figure out.I have done well up the north arm
top lineing and 15-25 feet down with lead core.
As soon as the weather cools down, all the skiers are
done I might give it a try.
For me I don't always have to catch fish to
enjoy a day on the water. But putting a few in
the boat always helps with the morale.

Thank you for the replies. Weather permitting, I am going to give it a try on Sunday.
