Went camping this weekend and caught some nice size carp and cats and lost some craze carp. As you can see they are all nice size fish. Great feighters. We fryed them all. I hooked one big carp that striped almost all my line off the real, but the hook came out off the mouth. It was a great fishing and camping trip. all the fish was caught from 7am to 9am. The fish was jumping like crazy out there. we fish around acorn camp site.

The bait is corn meal for carp and cats and the carp out here is more cleaner then sacramento carp and taste better, the cats were nice and fatty, great taste.

Thanks!
I'm gonna have to try it out sometime.
I keep hearing that there are some huge carp in the Arden pond (William B Pond) have you ever tried there?

By the way, SurgeDaCatch, you have an awesome signature for your posts!

I haven't tryed william pond, but i seen a kid pull out a good size goldfish out of there. I think most of the fish die out there. What do they eat?

I'm not sure what they eat out there, but from what I understand they are being caught with corn...
