Amador 3-11-18
Up at 3:30am. Felt like 2:30 because of daylight savings UGH! Got to the lake just before seven where we met up with our friends Andrea and Jason.
We start out slow trolling for a couple of strikes on the Gvf pink lil draggins and then that bite died. We ended up bank fishing and the Hawg Huntress Andrea picked up four trout to 15" on chartreuse/orange mice tails with Jb's fish sauce. All four came off of the same pole and set up today. Jason set it up with a short leader compared to our 3' leaders. So I am thinking the fish were hugging the bottom.
It wasn't on fire today but we had a really good time joking around and taking pictures. And no skunk so we all left happy campers! Oh and thank you Andrea and Jason for the yummy lunch at the Tackle box Cafe!
Until next time...

Most of the fish have rocks in their stomach, definitely eating something off the bottom! Thanks for the report, short leaders are the way to go right now.
