Due to Medical issues and a visit from my son I haven't fished much as of late. Went to a couple of local waters with Jetspray and JB Fishing. We fished Mitch Pond about a mile from Dave's house and Martin Slough about a half mile from Sharkey's. We managed 5 fish, 4 trout and a little channel cat. We spent most of our time at Mitch but found the most fish at the Slough we got one fish in 3 casts. Nice seeing you guys again. Maybe something more involved later in the week.

Pretty cat, I was expecting a bullhead before I saw the picture. Didn't think there were too many in your neck of the woods. Always nice to get out and catch a few!

Always nice to get out and catch a few!Just depends on what the dump truck carries and locals throw away from their aquariums. The pond has 4 bubblers in it to keep the oxygen levels up but that makes algae grow like crazy in the summer. It gets soupy......Jetspray

I went through a sick spell awhile back too. Missed about 7 weeks of fishing in April and May.

Glad you feel better and catching fish again.

That does look like an aquarium catfish that I once had?

Mitch Pond has Catfish, Bluegill, LMB. Carp and Rainbows. Even got a small Browns. Martin Slough has Bows and an occasional. In late summer Martin dries up.
