Another great week of camping and fishing at Antelope Lake. Although the average size of the rainbows were smaller than years past, we did manage quite a few, and the kids had fun catching both rainbows and brookies. Largest fish of the week was 22", with the average being about 17". Brown grubs and naked crawlers at .92-1.04mph seemed to work best with either 2 colors of leadcore, or 13-20ft. on the riggers with 85ft. setbacks.

My 5 year old son got his personal best 19.5 inch rainbow.

On a down note we had 3 rods and a cooler bag stolen from camp. Please see the general forum for details.

Nice! (Other than the theft) The smiles say it all.

Crappy in the north weedy bay is real good.

My wife and in laws were up there and told me about someone's stuff getting ripped off. Sorry to hear about such non sense. They have been going there for decades and have never even heard of any issues like that.

03 and 04 I went to that lake several times bass fishing, some of the best I have ever had, didn't catch
anything but lm bass. but it was worth trip towing the boat up there. never had a problem with anybody.
I guess its just the changing times, we're not really safe and secure anywhere and more. jmho
be safe
