Met up with Momoney at miller park ramp just after 5am. Ramp was already busy. We drifted and trolled Herring till about 1pm for just 2 bites. 1 shaker halibut and a small keeper halibut. Fish south of hog as usual, probably 15 boats fishing all the usual area around Hog. Lotta boats at the ramp on the way in. Some guys with 1 fish too and others with up to 5 halibut. Seems like the guys who made the run over the bar for salmon did well.
Good luck out there

This year i’ve had better luck trolling in Tomales. Gotta head south near the oyster beds though, cause there’s too much grass near hog. Best setup for me has been trolling an anchovy behind a copper dodger, but the 8” Pro-Troll flashers have worked too. All in all, its been a tough bite for me this year.
