JB Fishing and I arrived on the East Carson at 0740. Clear skies, little wind and temps in the low to mid teens. We fished above the HWY 89 junction in clear and very cold water. The fish were very sluggish but we managed 5 to the shore to 4#+. All fish came on Green Gulp and small plastics. Only one more week until the river closes. There may be another trip. Thanks for the ride Jeff.

Once again, good job men! Thanks for the info. The Creek in my backyard had some ice on it this morning for the first time this year.

Brrrrr! You guys sure have had a good year. Lots of nice trout to the shore. Captain, thanks for all the reports and the very nice pics. Always look forward to your posts. JB, when you’re not out fishing you must be spending a lot of time babysitting that smoker!

I fished the Blue Lakes today so I can definitely confirm that cold. The trucks said it was 12 degrees in the Hope Valley when I drove through and when I got to Upper Blue It was a balmy 21 degrees and freakin windy. But at least the fishing was good. Caught 6 total and had a few others chase my Panther Martin. Kept a few that scarfed down a nightcrawler. All bows.
