CCI had the 3rd eye surgery yesterday (Saturday 22nd), I do go back today (Sunday 23rd) for the doctor to look if everything went well. I might I say I might be able to go to the opener but that is entirely up to the two that worked on me, I suspect not. I have not missed many openers since I moved here, but this time there is a valid reason if I do. I want to say thanks to all the others I know and love:jasper::unconscious:.….Jetspray

Best Wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

P.S. Merry ChristmasThanks Don the work is being done in Reno at two different facilities. Great people all around. Most of the direct problem is just my age and stuff falling off or breaking as I get older. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as well...Topaz opens on the 1st of the year and from what I read they have taken down all of the red signs for not allowing vehicles to park on the shore......Jetspray

Best wishes on a good recovery. It is amazing what those guys can do to correct eye problems that not many years ago were sure to result in total vision loss in an eye. Recovery up here can be more problematic than down in the flatland because of pressure changes associated with our varied elevations so do what the docs say and you should do fine.

Flashing in the eye is the first sign, a flashing circle, a line, or a white flash to either right or left in that eye is a sign. Having general vision problems, like black floaters or floaters in general. In my case I had a black line in my lower right quadrant and some black floaters which I thought was normal for my age, guess what it was not...….Jetspray

Well thank you for concerns and prayers, I indeed need them now. It is difficult at my age to be accurate, still make a bunch of miss judgements......now why am I in this room.....Jetspray

Hey Jetspray, wishing you a speedy and uneventful recovery. It’s amazing what modern American medicine can do. I have an eye problem that my Retina specialist has kept my vision 20/20 for 8 years now. Prior to 10 years ago there was nothing they could do to preserve my vision. I thank God every day for the miracles of American medicine.

I thank God every day for the miracles of American medicine.Well just to let you know I had two gas bubbles added to my surgeries prior to this one each costs about $1,100, now I have an oil bubble which Dr Khanani will have to manually remove, when he does he is going to do cataract on that eye. This equates to about $7,000 per surgery (4 if you are counting). I am just sure the Obummer Care I have will cover zilch, but if they do I won't have to flee my home...…..Jetspray

North End Red signs.....

Originally there were 13 signs from the beginning west end to the east end. Two of them were drug down by someone with a truck/chain setup and were still in the dirt there. Another was taken down about nine away but the post is still there. So there are 10 present signs along the north shore. Access to the park and area around the east end headed to the south is very easy to drive with a truck and plenty of room. Of course you will have to pay a day fee unless you bought a yearly pass as I did in Gardnerville at the Parks office across from the park (address is in the original posting that CC had). It is all easy, now if I can get my Doctor's OK to fish I will be there...….Jetspray

We had a great day on the south side of the park, caught 7 and had some locals there too. Glad I got my sticker ahead of time, never saw a ranger. There were 30 vehicles on the north shore with some campfires (did not see anyone ticketed or official over there either)......Jetspray
