I found a shop that sells Pro-Cure scents at a reasonable price, and I will be visiting them next month.

Which one should I buy for trout?

Trophy Trout Gel is always a good bet. Minnow and Nightcrawler too.

Bloody Tuna

For trout fishing?

I seem to be in the minority, and have never liked anise or garlic for trout. Definitely not a natural scent for them. But if it works for you, go for it! I think scent is not only an attractor, but to mask human smells as well.

Trophy Trout and Crawfish are the ones I seem to use the most.

I love fishing some threadfin shad gel. Works amazing at Sonoma for Steelbows.

Some days its all they will touch. Other days its another scent. Trout are unpredictable. Hell, one day on the W. Carson a few years ago I noticed fish hitting something on the surface. Got a little closer and it was a cigarette butt. Put one on the hook and limited in a few hours.

I personally think trout are either feeding or not regardless of what scent you're using. If they're not biting, no amount of scent will make a difference. Much better to use high action lures to create a reaction bite when times are slow. Having said that, I use Threadfin Shad, Trophy Trout and Bloody Tuna. I believe it helps when they ARE feeding. Often they'll follow a lure without biting because they're just curious that way. Who knows why they don't commit, maybe said lure just doesn't look right to them. Add a little scent and they just might commit more often when the bite is on. Just my 2 cents.

33561 The green goop out-fishes everything else.

But...if it has to be "Pro-Cure", then Anise Krill.

I use Anise-Krill, Trophy Trout, Kokanee Special (for some reason the trout in Melones and Pedro love it) and garlic +
