I'm going to try to get up to Red Lake this weekend for a bit of ice fishing. Any hot tips out there?

Use shrimp for bait don't fish to far from shore wax worms work ok to. Try jigging a castmaster.

Jigs tipped with a worm or Berkley Gulp maggots. 3- 6 feet Max depth.

This one was from last weekend it got gut hooked so it had to come home. As you can see they're eating good!

Should be 5 or 6 feet of fresh snow over the ice, be prepared to dig down a bit before you drill.

Awesome! Thanks for all the information, sounds like it might be a good workout, if nothing else...

Wow, that's incredible. We've got no ice fishing here. How long do you usually stay out?

Well, I have kids, so not as long as I'd prefer. But, I can usually get 2-3 hours of fishing in, before their concentration (and my patience with them) expires.
