Glad y'all got out. 1 degree in Minden. On the + side we saw the first real sun in 2 weeks. Nice fish.

Beautiful fish! I haven’t been to Pyranid since the 90s. How’s the boat ramp at pelican point. Do I need 4wd?

ramp usually in fair condition, kind of rough with winds but not bad. no you dont need 4-wheel.
hope this helps.

Congrats on the nice fish. Being out is definitely better than being inside.

Beauties. Sure have the itch to get over the hill that way. 2 degrees makes me think twice though.

Out of curiosity, how do you like your net? I bought an inexpensive rubber dipped net at Bass Pro last year and hate the thing. It tangles hooks and gear worse than any net I've ever owned. Used to have a full rubber Cabela's net and it was great for not hanging up gear, but was heavy. Looking for a compromise and curious how you like yours.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Its a good compromise. I also have the heavy cabelas all rubber net. I like it. No tangled lures but it was to heavy for Bill, so he bought this dipped net. Not as bad as my nylon net and extends way out to get fish.

Glad to hear you like it. I may try another one. Mine was cheap and I got what I paid for.

Appreciate the input.
