Got to the lake at 10. The plant truck was leaving as i got to the main gate. Pulled up to the rec cove and saw a couple guys catching already. Parked and started fishing. Was getting bites right off the back but they were short bitting. In about two hrs the guys jigging got their fish and left. The bite died around 230. I caught two fish on powerbait. Moved over to the spillway and hooked three fish. Landed the little one. Lost both giants. Prob 6 and 7 lbs. the lake is full. And by myself it was hard to jump the fence and keep the fish on. So i tried pulling the 6 up. Got about 3 feet from the fence and the line broke. The other big one spit the hook after it jumped. Moved back to the rec cove at 530 and started catching again on everything. Green power bait and kastmasters did most of the damage. I did catch a few on jigs too. Thereís two tournaments today. Bass and koke

Kind of confused, what day did you fish? Nice fish! What area was the rattler in?

I fished Friday. The snake was on the way to the spillway on the pathway.

No i killed it. The grass is tall in most places atm. Looks like they are trying to cut it down. That one was a baby so the rest of the litter canít be far away. [emoji216][emoji216][emoji216].

I'm all for letting them live in their habitat. Pardee rec area isn't one, good job! You know turkeys eat the snot out of them, hopefully they get on it!
