Has anyone been out there? How's the water level? Two weeks ago it was BLOWN out and I couldn't find a good spot. The water was just too high; higher than I saw it get last year.

I think from what I hear knights landing is almost fishable in the calm water area. Try there.

Just got back. Windy as hell out there and the trails are slick as snot with wet silt from the flooding. Water level is falling, though. 3 ounces held bottom just fine.

Got checked out by a DF&G guy named Otto who rides with his dog. Dark green truck. I didn't know you needed a delta stamp to fish the Bypass??? GLAD we had ours! It was the first thing he asked for. He did warn me not to drive on the levees, which I did to get down to the water. I LOVE getting away with a warning!!!

Anyway, got 2 dink cats for the night on night crawlers, both released. Better than a skunk! *;)

The bridges are now open and the fields are drying out, sac. ave should open any day now.
