I havent fish there since I was a kid- but I do know that some of the cats are of decent size- and I THINK trout are planted as well....Im sure there some sunfish of sorts in there as well...worth the short trip for some local line wetting. :D

I went there a while back to practice my baitcasting. Its a pretty small pond but it looks unnaturaly green. Almost like if it was dyed. I dunno, I've heard there are a few cats in there but I dunno if I'd eat anything out of there.

i'll tell you all i know about the place.

i've heard theres cats in there some big ones too but i've heard the water is so dirty and unnatural i've heard it looks ''just plain nasty'' from more then one person you would never want to eat anything in there.

I'll give a report when i go.

thanks guys

I think some dude posted a few pics of some cats he caught in there a month or so back. Run a search and you'll find em.

Hey Justin
It is smack dab in the middle of Elk Grove park. I can't remember how to get there, but you heard right. I recall the water being pretty nasty, but I have seen guys pull some decent cats out of there.
God bless

Yep water is nasty looking, they dye it blue or something.

I used to play in that park as a kid, ahh the good 'ol days! ;)
