The best way to find it would be to go to wal-mart and get a map, THE DELTA by FISH n MAP CO. I put in at Rio Vista and go up river (keep left)past the Sac. river inlet and the steamboat slough inlet. you will be in cache slough, about 6 miles up from Rio Vista Miner slough is on the right. The best places for cats are along side of an island where there are tules growing in about 11 to 13 feet of water. best bait is sardines and chicken livers on size 6 hooks with a sliding sinker and blanced pole. this area access only by boat. You will not catch any giant fish there but most are 1 to 3 lbs. JIM D. P.S. I did catch a 19 in. striper.
