Anyone have any tips, on any species, for this time of year.
I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Its tough to fish folsom from the bank. I do a bit of bass, trout, carp, and catfishing there. If you want info about carp there is a big thread on page 6. Bass are spotty, and the best time to fish for trout is when they plant. Look at the fish and game website and they will tell you when a plant is coming up. Its absolute non stop action. haha fun for a bit of catch and release.

Where are you coming from?

You can try any cove with some stinky cut bait for catfish. Beeks Bight is where I have had the best luck and it is an easy walk from the parking area.

Isdaann-I think Striperman is in Utah. From 50, take El Dorado Hills Bl to Green Valley Rd.; turn left, go down the hill and turn right into Browns Ravine.

I found my way to Browns Ravine, last saturday, but it was kinda windy. Where is the best place to fish for bluegills and crappy there. And what is the best method.

I hate to change the locations... But- Horseshoe Bar has a really good Bass and Gill zone. Thats hwy 80 to Horseshoe Bar Rd. Then left on Folsom/Auburn till you see the sign for the Boat access. There are other roads that will get you to different parts. I wish I remembered the names but I just drive...... We always catch a few every time... -=Cy
