Hey fellas, I just ordered a float tube online and it should be arriving soon.

Can anyone suggest some good float tubing spots in the bay area for Bass?

I plan to try Shadow Cliffs in Pleasanton for starters.

Does anyone know if Shinn Pond in Fremont allows float tubes? I've seen a sign that says no boating and no swimming so I'm assuming that float tubes are not allowed.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

hey dude....

it's hard to beat colero for float tubing for bass...park on the left side by the horse stables...some really nice coves and flats to work with a tube...

good luck!

I do not think Tubes are allowed at Shin. But I have seen them at Quarry lakes
