Can anyone recommend a place or depth to drop a minnow trap at Folsom?

Find boulders that go into the water and set your trap no deeper then 5' deep. The minnows will be hiding in the boulders/rocks. Hand full of dry dog food will do the trick.

You can try Hammer's trick too, 2 fresh donuts in the trap, never caught so many minnows ever, (at Tahoe) ;D I laughed at Hammer the whole time the trap was in the water, this time he had the last laugh ;D We pulled up so many minnows that we couldn't count them 8)very cool 8)

Yeah, regular glazed donuts has been the ticket for me too when catching minnows. *I've also faired well with lemoncake.
