I am new to striper fishing in the California Delta.
Does any one know when is striper fishing in full swing?
Do they have seasonal runs like salmon and steelhead, Or are they there year round?

You can fish them all year, you just need to be able to follow them and know when and where. December to March being the slowest time of the year.

My Year starts March/April with trolling the west delta and farther up the river system with bait and plugs at places like the American River/Yuba River/Feather Fiver then May/June in the bay for Butt's/Striper's and the beach June till October, October though December back in the west delta.

Hay thanks that is a lot of good info.
Hay if I was looking for a good to fair beach fishing spot would you be willing to give me a couple of spots or ideas of where to look.
I know how some people are about giving up to much info on where they fish, Im not looking for your honey spot just some places to check out. [smiley=fishing5.gif]
I have to say I like your slogan D I love to buy fishing gear.
