Trolled from rodeo to the pt pinole ruins, working from 3 ft out to 15ft. *Got one just by the old steel plant. *Decided to pick up and run back over towards pinole, drop the pick in 12 ft and threw out some bullheads sat around for 2 hrs nothing :( *These fish are here but I think the best part of the bite is at the very beginning of the incoming and thats it. *Ran back over to rodeo out by joseph's dropped the pick in 15ft. *Has some nice size bass and sturgeon jump right around the area. *30 minutes later had a sweet run after a while it came up a 42" leopard. *20 minutes later get a small tap, I pick up the rod another tap, pull, drop, pull and zzzzzzzzz hook up. *I'll be darned another leopard 44". *It became apparent the bass were not going to bit so I pull the plug, but still a beautiful day in SP bay. *

sounds fun
having sharks bite is better than going out there the whole day for no action

I don't think there is a real boat launch from rodeo to pinole.

wind was horrible today, tried the incoming but the wind was blowing boat all over, tried near pinole pt shoreline area in about 8ft. Trolled, and bait fish bullheads and grass shrimp, bunch of stingrays and sharks.
No stripes. Couldnt mark anything on the finder.

I think the majority of them are probably moving into the delta.

sometime in the middle of october is prime time, blink and you will miss it. drift bait on the downstream side of the pt. pinole pier as close to the shore line as you can get. When the shore anglers start yelling at you just give em the finger and let em watch you land a hawg ;D

thats why ya tilt the motor up and use the oars. You guys ain't gonna get to em with big fancy expensive boats.
