Has anyone had any luck catching stripers from the beach that is due west of the town of Bolinas?
And if so what type of plugs were you using?

Thanks in advance!

Stripers sometimes feed at the entrance to the Lagoon on an outgoing tide. I haven't hooked one for many years, but I know that kids who fish there on a daily basis in the summer and fall get a few.

Hey Fishingchef,

I've always had good luck catching leopards right off of the beach there.

So I'll be trying for both today.

I didn't have any luck out there on Saturday. Not a single bit.

The Captain and I were out there perching this afternoon for a short time, about 1 1/2 hours, beginning 1:30 p.m. Not a single hit. I'm thinking the huge outgoing current pushed all the fish out to the bay. Lots of holes and troughs being revealed as the tide dropped, over by the groin, but they held nothing but seaweed.
