fished red barn last from night 9ta2 foggy foggy incoming tide one pump 1 25in striper grass shrimp few other people fishing no luck didnt even see one jump must not be the right time of the year :-/

From what I been hearing its good there..I think you just need to fish different tides..Atleast you are out fishing thats what counts in my book.

They are in there, sometimes they just don't bite. Like DinoBlaster said, try both incoming and the outgo if your marking fish in that area. I've had the bite switch with the tide and caught fish before within minutes of the tide change ;). Good luck out there.

They're coming. I was at hood area on 2/7 and seen sturgeon movement on top of the water, very active, and about 4 splash. If you can catch them slowly, use lure. That was in high tide.

The current is running fast, the line will always be on the outgiong side even though the water is rising. I use 14 oz size of weight but 12 oz should be fine. There are lots of grass sticking on the line so see if the next couple week if it will clear that up.
