Yo dudes,

I'm going to be in Portland for two weeks on business, and was wondering if any of you had some suggestions on guides in that area. I'm looking for a guide that can fish 4 hours in the evening if possible - I have a heavy workload ahead of me.

Hope you guys can help,
Roland

Would your schedule allow a bit of a drive up to Astoria ? It took me about 1 and 1/2 hours to get there from the Portland area.
I was down there just a few weeks ago and thats where all the guides were with customers going for keepers. I think NwSturgeonkillR had stated in a post that they are near the mouth through July. Perhaps you could set up a 1/2 day trip with a guide, adjusting for your hours.

im sure you could find a guide to go down there but it would be all catch and release

Glad you pointed that out. I didn't realize there was a closure and was thinking of driving up there this next week.
