Finally figured it out!!! ;D ;D Now I feel stupid because it's much easier than I had originally thought it would be.

Anyway, here it goes for both Internet Explorer and Myfishingpictures.com...

To post a pic. from the web using Explorer:

1) Click on the picture you would like to post and drag it to your desktop (This will save the picture to your desktop).

2) Now, minimize your browser windows and open the picture you just added to you desktop in step 1. The picture should come up by itself in a browser like window with the URL in the address bar.

3) Copy entire URL by:
Highlighting it
Go to "EDIT"
Then "COPY"

Now you have the majority of the work done ;).

4) Open up the 'Sniffer and start your post that you'd like to add your pic. to. When it comes time in your story to add the picture go to step 5.

5) You now need to add code. Type
then go to "EDIT" in your tool bar and "PASTE". You should now have the URL from your picture right where it needs to be. Now, immediately after the URL add

6) Once you're done writing, post as normal. You should see your picture in the post.

To post a pic. using http://www.myfishingpictures.com

1) If you haven't already done so, open an account with http://myfishingpictures.com This is the only picture hosting site I've found that will work with MAC's every time.

2) Upload your picture(s) to the site.

3) Open the picture you'd like to post on the 'Sniffer and then look for the box towards the bottom of the page marked "Image Link" and highlight entire link. Go to "EDIT", then "COPY".

Now go to step 4 on the above directions and you should be posting pic.s in no time!

For more information, go to on picture sizing and image issues, go to http://www.fishsniffer.com/cgi-bin/forumsyabb/YaBB.pl?board=sniffermsg_main;action=display;num=1 099806237

GOOD LUCK!!!

Erreck I have had great results using photobucket.com as a hosting site for the pictures I've posted here.

As far as the using Internet Explorer thing, blech! Microsoft has ceased any development/support for Internet Explorer for Mac OS. That being said, Camino/Firefox and Safari are great browsers.

Sorry, if you're a MAC user, (like myself), you have NO desire to use IE. I'll stick with Firefox.

I agree that photobucket does well with my hosting.
