We went out at the start of the incoming tide (1:30 or so) with a buddy of mine to Rio Vista, used ghost, and eel. Roland set the wood to one good sized fish about an hour or so later, third pump hookset the hook shook loose and he lost it. (OUCH!!!) A couple nibbles and bites later, we decided at about 7:00 that we were warm blooded creatures and this weather was a bit cold for our blood, lol. The fishing was pretty much dead the whole day.
