What are the best types of releases and where is the best place to get them? I fish freshwater from kokes, browns, to rainbows, etc. Does anyone have any for sale?
Thanks,

I've had good luck with the Scotty mini releases. They seem to be the easiest to adjust the tension and have performed flawlessly. They sell them for $6.99 at FW and other places.

I really like Vance's release system. Haven't had any problems, other than losing a couple in the drink. :-/ ;D

I have tried cannon, invader and walker releases. Like the Invader the best. They seem to have relatively uniform tension no matter how deep you clip your line. And reliable. Walker release is terrible, as is their downrigger. Will try Scotty release soon and will have an idea.

The Scotty mini's are by far my favorite. You can get them just about anywhere that sells Scotty stuff.

My vote is for Scotty Large. :o yes the big ones :o

no problem with the Koke's :D "Honest" ;)Also will hold when you up the speed and go deep with big swim baits. ;D

I hate to come out once down then have to come up and re-rig.
