They are still in 70-100 feet of water trolling at 50-70 feet for the hogs...close to the bottom

Some fish coming at 25-40 feet...but typically smaller up high.

I don't know what he was using today but yesterday it was watermelons around.

It was closer to a scratch bite than wide open today from what I saw. There were some big fish coming early in 60' of water, then after the tide change more guys moved offshore, 150-200' of water, where they'd been picking up more fish but a smaller grade all morning. I had my limit (blue/chrome Apex, 21 & 28lbs) by 11am ;D, so don't know how it went after that.

It was dead Flat out there, and a great day we ended up with 5 fish total Krzy got one more 18lb fish, and we lost 3 more that came off before we got them to the boat,, Apexes were working good in green, watermellon, and cop car, the most hits came on 11" chrome dodger and a green RSK 30" leader, I wish I would have started the morning off with this set up.. the best bite fo us was in 100' running 60-70' down at 10 mile, we satyed on the inside when everyone else went deep and picked up Krzys 2 fish,, Hammer was awsome on the net, we only missed one fish cause we had a double and the first fish was all tangled in the net when Mickey had the second one behind the boat and it shook lose,, we wern't picking up fish in the bait but on the outside of all the bait,, had a great time and we have pic's to follow.. *

nice report racer. hope they stick around a couple more days. i'd like to stay in close on 10-mile, but i'll go out to the 200' line west of bird if it dries up.

I've only seen one report for today so far. Vince who ran the Calico sometimes this summer was out with 3 other guys and got skunked.

Hear is the report for today, most people turned and went back to the docks this morning, the wind was a howling, it was not to bad at first but the farther we got out the worst it got, so we turned back and try trolling inside tomales bay for alot of weeds, then the fog cleared up and the wind slacked off a bit just enough to make it fishable, we headed off of bird rock to 180 feet of water but that did not last long and the wind picked back up, real rough ride back, heard of about three fish caught by private boats off of bird in 100 to 150 feet of water.
If tomorrow is going to be like today, better to just stay home.
