abbot's lagoon still on fire today, saturday. couldn't get the downriggers all the way down in the morning before they'd get hit. shakers took the whole tray of anchovies. started in on the herring. then the hogs showed up. we hooked and lost some nice fish. had the pleasure of having someone go over our line despite the fact that us and two other boats were shouting him off. one of those days. we did come home with some, but left our trophies in the water. everybody was getting fish. water was pretty sloppy and we aree a bit sore from the ride home on the 17 foot sakonnet, but had a real nice day out there.

40-80' of water, 30-50'down the wire, apex, kripple anchovies, rsk's, red, green, didn't seem to matter.

Hilareous....as I sat with my family on the beach at Abbott's Lagoon yesterday, I kept wondering if any of the offshore boats (getting pretty pounded) were fishsniffers. My questions been answered.

Glad to hear somethings tugging on those lines ;D
