Went up Monday Afternoon and Fished the Evening
Caught 1 Fish of 14 lbs after 2 hours of fishing--ite was slow in the PM
Fished the Early morning bite on Tuesday Am
W---O----W is the only way to describe it.
Five minutes after getting the lines in
BAM My friend Bob Olson Lands a 15 Pounder.
Then after rerigging and getting the Lines in
my rod goes off--zeeeeeeeeeeeeeee This one is big
The rod bends and I Felt the boat Stop moving as this fish is taking out line.
The WM apex did its thing.
Then Snap--My 40 lb test Maxima Leader Breaks.
My drag was to tight according to Bob.
We saw the fish and it was in the 30-40 lb class.
Oh well Lines again go in and Bob hooks up again
That fish is landed. Another 15 lb fish.
Then I catch 1 more and loose another to a FURBAG.
Then We regain our senses and I land the last fish.
Bob never did get his coffee poured till we quite fishing.
All fish were caught on either Hoochies behind flashers with herring teasers on the hooks or the WM apex at 30-40ft with a 2 lb ball.
Water temp 51.3
Seas 4-6 every 8 seconds
Score --4 Salmon 12-15 lbs, 1 lost apex/slugfish,1 lost salmon to a furbag.
