im not too familiar with bay fishing,
so what are some fishes out there, i would be able to catch and their size limits?

Be best to get the free reg book and do your homework. Then whatever you catch you can look up and see if it is legal to keep and the size limit. ;)
If you have paid any attention to the forums here you know that not all info posted is correct. >:(

sturgeon, striper, halibut, leopard sharks, and lingcod are common fishes inside the bay that has size limits

Surf perches and rockfish have seasonal take regulations

Common fishes without size or season regs would be jack smelts, sand sharks, and bat rays

These are common fish I generally run into while fishing in the bay, but they are not limited to these... Refer to the regulations

alright thanks alot. i work at big 5 sporting goods, i'll just snatch one of those saltwater reg books. haha

Actually you want to also snatch up the regular regulations book also since it does have some size limits for saltwater fish also...
