sorry about misplacing this post guys............lost in thought ::) and Darrell, Im hearing nacimiento is doing really well,but just went to san antonio today(thurs) north end of the lake ,water is pretty clear and has fish jumping all over but couldnt find the magic bait.....went to south shore and it was like a whole different lake ,GREEN pea soup but caught 3 sm largemouths just barely legal......dont worry guys,theyere still swimming! ;) I ve only caught 5 fish this year and all on the same crankbait!

Boy! This is getting confusing. First he asks about saltwater on the freshwater forum and it gets moved to the saltwater forum then he gives a freshwater report. ;D

Caught a halibut out a the lake too along with some small lings..........jk ;D

Hey, I was considering San Antonio tomorrow! South shore. Haven't caught a smallie in years. Those fish you saw jumping in the north shore could've been carp.

Yeah,theres alot of carp jumping but there were alot of bass in the air too,it was a mixed bag. I threw out some corn but got not even a nibble but I also got ignored by the bass on unyil I went to the south shore. it was kind of frustrating because I had bass following my crankbait all the way to the shore,if I just had another 4 ft....BE WARNED !!! :o The south shore is still kinda SPOOKY GREEN! :o North shore is alot clearer.
