Took the kids out Sunday for some leopard shark fishing, BUT, decided to do 1 halibut drift......* Landed 3 to 20lb with all kinds of other hits/misses.* Awesome fall fishing morning on the bay!

747- Great day indeed! My son is still complaining about the reel rash on that chicken we boated. Best single drift of season and it comes in October?!?!? Unreal. :D

What part of the bay did you catch those nice looking butts?

Fantastic! I thought the halibut would all be gone by now.
What did you use for bait?

We used live sardines from the Berkeley Marina Bait Shop. Definately worth one more trip within the next few weeks.

Thats my favorite type of fishing: teaching the young'ins and seeing the look on their face when they reel in those hogs is one of the most enjoyable things in the world!

Nice work!
