I assume once the season starts in Nov. that it is ok to take Dungies west of the GGB?

Are they available early in the season as close in as between the GG and Point Bonita (where it would be comfortable to come back into the Bay while the pots soak)? I know there is limited shallow water and would expect those waters to be picked over fairly quickly, but I am thinking of possibilities for early season if the weather is uncooperative.

Or do you need to run up the coast?

Thanks, Chris

yes there right out the gate, and get a jump on it before the crabbin fleet does. i have alot of spots where i get 20-30 crabs in each pot on 2-4 hr soak in 80-30ft deep. but make sure yours traps weights at least 20lbs and two floats.

this is my report last year.
