Had an opportunity to fish today at Pyramid. Very casual start and was on the water by 10:00 am. Fished around Pelican with some of our favorite lures. Off the water by 1:30 as the wind started to begin as predicted. Results: 3 very nice keepers to 6 pounds! Can't beat a great day to spend a Monday of mid day fishing. I have a lot to learn about this lake but with this being very close to where I live now I am looking forward to the challenge. A great fishery!

Ken, glad you could get out today. Sounds like you're getting the lake dialed in just fine. 8-)

It is not what is above the water it is what is in the water. Great fishing and enjoyable too.....Jetspray

Yep, it is not only awesome, it is the world's greatest cutthroat trout fishery. I tell you what, Reno is about as good as it gets for trout fishing.

Right on Ken, keep washing my lures off and hooking some pigs and I will be up soon to join you. Nice way to start out the week fishing with your lady on a Monday with nice weather and no crowds. Soon you will be calling Pyramid your home lake.
