View Full Version : Fishing the south bay (near Redwood City)?

I have a small low powered 14í skiff that I take out of Redwood City, usually to cruise the sloughs or poke around just outside of the channel. Iíve been going out on various boats here for years and catch mostly sharks and one (ONE!) halibut. I enjoy the shark fishing but it gets old after a while. Is there anything else in the south bay I can target?

Keep in mind that my boat, while pretty salty is a home built skiff with 6hp motor and low freeboard at the stern. And by South Bay I mean below the San Mateo bridge.

Thanks guys,
