Woke up this morning and decided to clean the boat, after cleaning the boat I could'nt take it so I put two rods in the boat and loaded the dog in the box and headed back to the lake. Headed up the river only to see the water turned to mud brown, went to plan B and the fish were there and willing to eat. Hot set up was a brass dodger and green spinner tipped with a berkley power worm. Had a limit in 27 minutes and then played with Bailey at Horseshoe point.

Bailey chillin on the deck

Hey Kyle should of told you the water was stained up river when I saw you at the ramp. It looked like plan B worked out for you ok. Nice talking to you and thanks for showing me the spinners they looked great. Ment to ask if you make those your self and do you use a dodger and a 1 ounce wieght. Caught a mixed limit in the narrows the two kings I caught were 16" long so they are getting a little bigger. Plan on going out Friday morning for a while if the wind doesnt pick up hope to see you out there.

Kyle and I have several back up plans in the works jsut incase A,B,C,D,E and F are failures. What we try to do is fish a stretch of new water each trip for 30 min and we then rate it to what our standards are before roaring off to a higher producing area. If the new stretch is as hot why move. Kent

The average fish goes two pounds, sometimes we pick up a holdover rainbow. *

I did fish a different area after I had four in the boat and found fish but they were not stacked up like the others, I'm pretty sure a newbie can catch a limit anywhere on the lake, some places just hols more then others. They planted just before we arrived to the dock. Kent and I trolled by the dock and picked up a few fish then headed to the happy hunting grounds.
