hit the water today w/ full trout jones let him be the captain today at 7 am didnt really hit anything till about 9 am slammed 3 1 1/2 -2.0 pounders trolled till about noon I counldnt tell you how many short biters we had lost count tooooooooooo Many .

lotta boats out today lets see if anybody else did any good Quarry has been pretty slow

Well Fishing Spirit, sounds like you had some good action and 3 fish makes it worth it...at least no skunk! I trolled quarry on march 28th for one 1.5lber and only a few short strikes...sloooow! We got ours as I trolled by the tip of the peninsula using a j7 on the wire 8' around 10am. Then the wind came up fierce like 15mph, called it a day around 3pm.

What were you trolling? Any on the downrigger? Depth?

yeah we go them on grubs on the back side..first double of the year!!that was fun..all fish were caught on top..had one 8 ft OTW with no bumps..water temp was 62 .lots of bees in the water floating around ,maybe time for that kastmaster!!
